Things to Remember (Season-wise)

Spring (Mar–May): Trails are covered with rhododendron blooms. Days are pleasant but carry rain cover as showers are common.

Monsoon (Jun–Aug): Not recommended due to heavy rain, leeches, and chances of landslides.
Autumn (Sep–Nov): The best season for crystal clear mountain views. The forests turn golden, making it ideal for photography.

Winter (Dec–Feb): Expect snow at Sandakphu and Phalut. Nights are very cold, often dropping to –10°C. Pack woollens, gloves, and sturdy boots.
